I started making several or 4 hundred extra dollars every weekend.

Over the past several years, I have been working at a small Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair company. The owner of the supplier is an older guy that decided to retire several weeks ago. When he retired, his kid took over the supplier and changed a lot of things, and my fellow employees and I were receiving benefits love medical, dental, and a 401k. The current owner decided to change our schedule so every one of us no longer qualified for benefits. Since every one of us weren’t tied up for full-time hours, the guy did not have to spend money us benefits love insurance and pension. I honestly thought about quitting when I heard the news, but there aren’t really several heating and A/C repair companies in the small town where I live. I decided to make it labor so I did not go without a task. I found a way to make more cash on the weekends. I put an advertisement online on Facebook and Craigslist. I advertised our services as a certified Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair person. I gave our services at a much lower rate than the company was charging. I started making several or 4 hundred extra dollars every weekend. It’s been steady for a while now and I am starting to believe that I might have a future starting a supplier of our own. I could be the competitor that puts this guy out of business. I have wonderful relationships with a couple of the commercial property owners that I worked on. I haven’t gave them an alternative, but I believe it might be time to go public with our side business.

Each day when I go to the office, I listen to all of the messages on the answering component from the previous night! Both of us don’t offer emergency services overnight, but every one of us do promise next-day repair on any calls made throughout the evening… I listened to all of the messages and one particular message stood out among the rest.

I could tell it was a guy on the phone, however he was mumbling through most of the message.

I couldn’t understand anything he was saying and I did not hear his phone number either. I wanted to supply Heating, Ventilation, and A/C services to the customer, but I did not have any way to contact the guy. I hoped the buyer would contact us again, but I did not get any other phone calls throughout the day that sounded love the same person. The next day, I had another message on the answering machine. I could tell it was the same person, but this time I was able to understand the telephone number. I wrote down all of the numbers and I contacted the customer. I visited the repair address a couple of hours later, and as soon as I meant the customer, I understood why it was hard to hear his messages. The guy had suffered from a stroke a few years ago and he was still having trouble speaking respectfully. I helped the buyer with the furnace repair and I gave him our personal cell phone number so he could text me next time he has an issue with the furnace or a/c unit.

Until a few afternoons ago, I never had any trouble completing my task. I work circles around guys that are half of my age. I have been working as a boiler service corporation for twenty years. I love the task because I usually work alone. I service boilers that are used for commercial and industrial use and that is a speciality. I charge a premium fee for my consultations and repairs. I stay steady, however I have time to spend with my family and friends. I never work various afternoons a week, especially now that I am getting older. I have far more aches and pains than I did when I was 25 years old. I have a few independent corporations that I can call from time to time if I get stressed or overwhelmed. I had to call a single of the guys on Tuesday, because I could not complete a commercial boiler repair. The boiler needed to be welded and I’ve been experiencing a exhausting amount of pain in my wrist. I tried to complete the weld on my own, however I could not reach the area and the muscles in my wrist were cramping every time I tried… For the first time ever, I had to call someone to complete my task. It made myself and others assume exhausting and it made myself and others realize that I’m not getting younger. I made an appointment with the nurse, so I can have my wrist examined. If there is something I can do to stop the pain, I want to get ahead of it.

Not that many of years ago, I decided to sell my cabin and live a much odd lifestyle.

• I purchased a small camper and my dog and I went out on the road.

The camper that I purchased was older, however it had been newly remodeled with new flooring, cement in the bathroom, and a brand new oil furnace. The previous owner told myself and others that the cooling system was a couple of years old. It was ice frosty on the afternoon that I purchased the camper. About 6 weeks into my trip, I had the first problems with the camper. It turned out to be an issue with the air conditioning system. That machine is a single of the most luxurious items in the automobile to service and I had to contact a mobile Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service repair to handle the repair. Since I was living in the mobile camper, I did not have anywhere else to live if I put it in a shop. I contacted a couple of odd locales and only a single Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service repair gave mobile services for recreational vehicles. I made an appointment and paid an astronomically High fee for the repair call and the repairs. At least they were able to service the problem. It would have been a lot worse if I had to pay for a repair call that did not result in a functioning AC system. While the repair professional was working on the system, he also cleaned and tested the rest of the oil furnace components as well. I have not had any other major problems since then.
