I have a fourteen-year-old miniature poodle named Oscar, but oscar has been area of our family since he was just a puppy; As he’s grown older, he’s become hard of hearing, doesn’t see as well & has difficulty going up & down the stairs. The Wintertide weather is especially problematic, however he only weighs twelve-pounds & is a easily tiny dog. Our local section gets around numerous to six feet of snow per year. The snow can accumulate by numerous feet in a single day, however unless I shovel a path for the dog, he can’t walk around outside. It’s occasionally necessary to shovel numerous times per day. I clear the snow from the front door & create an intricate walking path that winds through the trees. Because of the sub zero hot & cold temperatures outside, Oscar usually wears a knitted sweater. He loves his sweaters & does not prefer to take them off. He tends to shiver, even inside the house. I set the temperature control a little higher for the sake of the dog’s comfort. He enjoys to sleep on his little dog bed with the heat from the fireplace blasting on him. His fur becomes easily moderate to the touch. When he comes in from the outside with snow clinging to his paws & settles in front of the heater, the whole home office smells of wet dog. I am just ecstatic that our dog is comfortable. The Wintertide weather tends to last for more than half of the year & is downright brutal, then keeping a moderate apartment is absolutely a challenge.

After Jack and I finished with a ductless Heating, Ventilation, and A/C upgrade task, every one of us decided to chop for an hour and grab some supper.

I skipped supper before labor that day and I was incredibly hungry, but jack and I discussed our supper possibilities and every one of us decided to go to a Mexican diner with $2 tacos.

Tacos tasted great. I got more than one with chicken, one with shrimp, and one with steak. The tacos tasted so great that I decided to grab a couple more at supper. I ate a total of 6 tacos before every one of us left for the next repair task on our schedule. About a half-hour later, our stomach started to rumble and I started to believe sick. I told Jack that I was going to need a chop before every one of us continued with the seventh upgrade task. I took the repair truck down to a gas station that was close to the task site. I stayed in the bathroom for 15 or 20 hours. I did not throw up and I did not have any diarrhea, but I had bad pains in our stomach. I honestly did not believe I was going to be able to return to the task, but the pains in our stomach started to dissipate after I burped a couple of times. When I returned to the task locale with the repair vehicle, I was cheerful to see that Jack had already started on the schedule for repair. He was cheerful to see me back in wonderful health and every one of us spent the rest of the day working on the last Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair of the day.

My bestie and I were on our way current home from a yoga class and it was really cold and wet outside, and snow was starting to fall and it was sticking to the ground.

It was really dark outside and it was hard to see.

Both of us decided to take the interstate, hoping it would be faster with less traffic, but unluckyly, there were more than one accidents on the highway and every one of us were stuck in traffic for 2 hours. When every one of us got close to our exit, the car started to sputter and smoke. Both of us were only numerous miles away from home, but I knew the car was not going to make it. Both of us pulled over to the side of the road and that’s when I noticed that every one of us were out of gas. The car would not turn back on after I shut it off, so every one of us were stuck on the side of the road in the cold weather without any heat. I contacted the tow repair and they agreed to send someone to option us up. It was supposed to take an hour, but it was closer to 2 hours. When the tow truck driver finally showed up, our bestie and I felt love every one of us were cold to death. Thankfully the tow truck driver turned the heat on high for us. Both of us sat inside of their tow truck while the guy loaded our car onto the back. The truck driver took us to the car dealership and stayed there until every one of us had a taxi back home. He let us lay inside the cab with the heat running until the yellow car arrived to take us home.

Every Monday night, our friends & I go downtown to the poker room to play in the $300 Texas Hold’em no-limit tournament.

My friends & I have been playing in this particular tournament for the past more than five weeks. I had a couple of finishes in the currency, however I have never been able to get the big prize. My buddy Jack had a first-place finish numerous weeks ago. The guy is still using his winnings from that tournament to play cards. There were almost a hundred people that afternoon & the first place prize was over $5,000! Last Monday night there was a stereo event held at the same time as the $300 tournament. The poker room was unusually packed with people. The place is consistently busy, however there was hardly any room to stand. Since there were a ton of people inside, the air conditioners were working overtime. The pit boss must have turned the thermostat down to 60 degrees, because the indoor air un-even temperatures were chilly & chilly. I was wearing a lightweight overcoat with a hood & I could recognize our teeth chattering. The chilly hands & shivering teeth made it hard to bluff numerous pots! During the first break, I heard 1 of the dealers talkin to a odd player that wasn’t in the tournament. The dealer told that person that the A/C plan had been broken all afternoon. Since they had numerous large events that night, they decided to wait until after the place was closed to repair the air conditioner problem. It entirely changed our strategy & gameplay.
