Awesome rental car, except for heat

Last month I had quite an aggravating string of events thrown my way, as usual; My pal and I were just wrapping up “no stress November” as the universe threw us a few curveballs to kickbeginning February, including my car cutting down without warning; I was on a little road trip to visit my best buddy when the Check Engine light came on & the car stopped responding to the accelerator pedal, then of course, I was not pleased to have this travel complication.

My annoyance only increased when I attempted to drive to work & found that the car was completely dysfunctional a few afternoons later.

At that point, I finally pulled out my laptop & started looking for rental cars. I rented an economy model, however wound up getting a sweet replace to something lavish at the facility; The car was a lot of fun to drive, actually… except for one problem. The car did not come equipped with laboring heat inside. As I drove home I desperately punched at the thermostat controls, thinking that I was just pushing the wrong control buttons. I sat in the driveway & fiddled with all of the temperature increase dials, the air flow speed, & the direction of air venting… but, nothing improved the indoor air temperature. I tried to swap it out with another car, however the dealership was steadfast that their thermostat must have worked, then for the next week I lived without any sort of heat while in my commute to & from work, & of course the air temperature dipped lower & lower each day, by the time my car was finally fixed & ready to be picked up from the shop, I was so sick of the dysfunctional thermostat in the rental vehicle. I swore I never wanted to drive another car again.
