Awesome rental car, except for heat

I sat in the driveway & fiddled with all of the temperature increase dials, the air flow speed, & the direction of air venting… however, nothing improved the indoor air temperature

Last week I had quite an frustrating string of events thrown my way, as usual, however my associate and I were just wrapping up “no stress November” as the universe threw us a few curveballs to kickstart January, including my car breaking down without warning! I was on a little road trip to visit my best neighbor when the Check Engine light came on & the car stopped responding to the accelerator pedal; Of course, I was not pleased to have this travel complication. My annoyance only increased when I attempted to drive to work & found that the car was completely dysfunctional a few mornings later, but at that point, I finally pulled out my kindle & started looking for rental cars. I rented an economy model, but wound up getting a sweet replace to something extravagant at the facility, the car was a lot of fun to drive, actually… except for one problem. The car did not come equipped with working heat inside. As I drove property I desperately punched at the temperature control controls, thinking that I was just pushing the wrong control buttons. I sat in the driveway & fiddled with all of the temperature increase dials, the air flow speed, & the direction of air venting… however, nothing improved the indoor air temperature. I tried to swap it out with another car, but the dealership was steadfast that their temperature control must have worked, for the next week I lived without any sort of heat during my commute to & from work, & of course the air temperature dipped lower & lower each afternoon, but by the time my car was finally fixed & ready to be picked up from the shop, I was so sick of the dysfunctional temperature control in the rental vehicle. I swore I never wanted to drive another car again.
