My mom has been dating this new guy for the past 2 months.
She decided to go out with the guy on Friday night and she left me in charge of my brothers. This was the first time my mom has left me in charge for more than an hour or two. I wanted to do a good job so she would trust me in the future. Shortly after my mom left, my brother started to complain about the indoor temperature. He said it was really hot in the house. I checked the thermostat and the temperature was a little high. Since the AC was running at the time. I didn’t think much about the problem. About an hour later, I was sitting in the living room with my brothers and we were watching TV. I was sitting directly under an AC air vent. When the air conditioner came on, I thought it was strange that the air was warm. The temperature inside of the house was high as well. I didn’t want to call my mom and ruin her date, but it was getting warmer in the house. The last time I checked the temperature on the thermostat, it was 73 degrees. When I checked the thermostat the last time, it was 80. I decided not to call my mom and I waited until she got home much later that evening. I put an extra fan in my brother’s room and I let my mom deal with the problem when she got home. The issues turned out to be low refrigerant, a problem that a professional has to fix.
