We love working alone.
- We own our business and only have enough contracts right now to stay afloat.
Things have been hard since the coronavirus and we are doing our best just to get through things. We usually have about 3 flooring tasks each week, but we have had plenty of extra work since the stimulus checks were sent out. Folks have opted to make house upgrades with the money.WeI had a flooring upgradement project the other day and had to go to the labor pool to get two people to help. We got lucky, because two guys at the labor pool actually had experience with tile and flooring. They were so great on that day, and they knew plenty more than we anticipated and did a lot of direction. The guys proved themselves to us and we offered them a part-time position. These guys told us that they were only looking for work 3 days a week, so it worked out perfectly for us. We call them when we need extra hands and they let us know if they need to work a day or two. The relationship is easily symbiotic and we love it. If we ever have enough business for a full-time flooring installation servicemen, we will absolutely talk these guys into working more hours. We have never seen anyone who can create a solid straight line without a ruler. These guys are great at measuring distance too, and are usually right on the currency by an inch or more than 2 even when the distance is 12 or 15 ft. They are fantastic employees to have around.
