The boss told me this past year that she has her eye on me for a totally different job.
I went to engineering school so I could labor with my hands plus invent something revolutionary that would totally change the way all of us live. Unfortunately, I can’t start off at the top, but I had to start somewhere after school was over. I found a job working at a laboratory that packages plus ship’s medical supplies. I truly have a single of the most simple jobs in the whole world. It’s my job to test the indoor air quality inside of the building where I happen to work. Every 30 minutes, I use a special laptop to check the quality of the indoor air. The machine measures the amount of particles inside of the air. The adequate amount of products inside of the room is .001%… Anything higher than that can cause harmful contamination plus I have to shut down the production line if those levels occur. Most of the time my job is pretty boring. I have only had a single incident where the number was above the line plus it was only by a miniscule amount, and production was shut down while they evaluated the machine plus it turned out to be a fluke learning on the machine that I was using. They recalibrated the machine plus I had to check the indoor air quality every 15 minutes for the rest of our shift. The boss told me this past year that she has her eye on me for a totally different job. I am unquestionably hopeful that it will be something with a little bit more responsibility plus action. I could fall asleep standing out there at times. I have a degree from an ivy league school. I unquestionably don’t feel as though they are using me to my full potential.
