It was all over the mirror, sink, and floor.
The bathroom faucet sink was loose for multiple months. I told my husband at least 100 times that the faucet needed to be replaced. When he woke up on Tuesday morning and got ready for work, he certainly did not plan on dealing with a bathroom faucet issue. He was going to run a couple of miles around the park with some friends, but the guy never actually made it away from the house.I had to use the bathroom and even turn off the faucet but the water didn’t shut off until I turned the dial multiple times. There was no change in the flow of water because the knob was spinning freely and broke off directly into my hand. That’s when I knew that a new faucet was absolutely necessary. I contacted several people to help us with the faucet. I watched videos that would be able to help and did not consider at all not turning off the water to the house was going to be important. When I remove the top faucet, the spigot broke off in my hand and water begin to spray everywhere. It was all over the mirror, sink, and floor. There was no way for me to keep the water from Spring and it was everywhere. I was losing my mind and all of my patience. It took at least 15 4th for my husband plus myself to locate the shut-off switch and our entire bathroom was completely flooded by this time. The damage to the bathroom due to the plumbing was absolutely significant.
