The R-410A is horrible for the environment

The GWP (Global Warming Potential) of the R-410A became a topic of discussion soon after its implementation into HVAC systems. The general concern was expressed by government agencies, environmental groups, and manufacturers. While there is nothing appreciate ‘environmentally friendly’ refrigerant, it was crucial to phase out the R-410A. There is currently a phasing out stage set up in a similar fashion to the R-22. The amount of refrigerant released to the atmosphere does have an impact on weather conditions change. This is why emphasis is still on finding a better solution. I’ve regularly tried to be mindful of our carbon footprint. When I was in middle school, the people I was with and I got to learn about weather conditions change and its effect on the planet. Our teacher encouraged us to strive to live in an eco-friendly manner. Now, while it’s not possible to be 100% environmentally friendly, you can live the best way to a sizable extent. For instance, I recently changed our condo up to use a HVAC method with a high SEER rating. That means this HVAC method is great for the environment since it uses less energy. Energy efficient HVAC systems also benefit homeowners since you end up paying less for energy. A buddy of mine also moved his condo from the national grid to solar power. Now, there’s a lot that has to be said about solar energy, but it’s a great way to power your home. He’s even making more energy and selling it back to the national grid. I’ve l received that small changes can have a large impact if several people take the necessary steps.
