The GWP (Global Warming Potential) of the R-410A became a topic of discussion soon after its implementation into Heating plus Air Conditioning systems.
The general problem was expressed by government agencies, environmental groups, plus manufacturers. While there is nothing like ‘environmentally friendly’ refrigerant, it was pressing to phase out the R-410A. There is currently a phasing out phase set up in a similar fashion to the R-22. The amount of refrigerant released to the atmosphere does have an impact on weather conditions change. This is why emphasis is still on finding a better solution. For instance, I recently changed my apartment up to use a Heating plus Air Conditioning plan with a high SEER rating. That means this Heating plus Air Conditioning plan is good for the environment since it uses less energy. Energy efficient Heating plus Air Conditioning systems also benefit homeowners since you end up paying less for energy. A friend of mine also moved his apartment from the national grid to solar power. Now, there’s a lot that has to be said about solar energy, but it’s a fantastic way to power your home. He’s even making more energy plus selling it back to the national grid. I’ve l earned that small changes can have a large impact if many people take the necessary steps.
