The GWP (Global Warming Potential) of the R-410A became a topic of discussion soon after its implementation into Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C systems.
The general concern was expressed by government agencies, environmental groups, plus manufacturers.
While there is nothing love ‘environmentally friendly’ refrigerant, it was pressing to stage out the R-410A. There is currently a phasing out stage set up in a similar fashion to the R-22. The amount of refrigerant released to the atmosphere does have an impact on climate change. This is why emphasis is still on finding a better solution. I’ve always tried to be mindful of our carbon footprint. When I was in middle school, both of us got to learn about climate change plus its effect on the planet. Our lecturer encouraged us to strive to live in an eco-friendly manner. Now, while it’s not possible to be 100% environmentally friendly, you can live the best way to a large extent. For instance, I recently changed our lake house up to use a Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system with a high SEER rating. That means this Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system is enjoyable for the environment since it uses less energy. Energy efficient Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C systems also benefit homeowners since you end up paying less for energy. A buddy of mine also moved her lake house from the national grid to solar power. Now, there’s a lot that has to be said about solar energy, but it’s a good way to power your home. He’s even making more energy plus selling it back to the national grid. I’ve l received that small swings can have a giant impact if numerous people take the necessary steps.
