The people I was with and I wanted to do Springtime split the right way.
This was our first year of college, plus the many of us wanted to do something fun plus exciting for our first college Springtime break, then most of the other students were going to 1 of the beaches, however both of us decided to go inland instead, plus rent a small bungalow by a lake in the foothills, then it was a remote, however exclusive getaway spot, with a few dozen cabins around the lake.
The people I was with and I were so happy to spend a week in the water plus the sun, getting high plus drunk plus maybe finding some cute boys, what both of us didn’t expect was for the beach house to have no a/c, but and I don’t mean that the A/C was broken, I mean that there wasn’t any! All both of us had were a handful of space oil heating systems in the front closet, plus more heat was the last thing both of us needed on Springtime break! That first night was pretty rough, because even with the sea breezes it stayed hot 24/7. The next morning both of us complained to the rental agent, who directed us to take a closer look at those space oil heating systems in the closet. The people I was with and I discovered they weren’t space oil heating systems at all, they were portable cooling units that both of us could transfer around the home to where they were needed. It turns out that the home was seasoned enough that it had been built without any central HVAC duct, so a central idea could not be installed. The portable cooling units did a good task in taking the edge off the heat.
