The water glasses in the bathroom were dirty, that wasn’t the worst part about the room.
This year for our birthday, my wife and I decided to go to a hotel for 2 days alone. My mom and dad took all three of the youngsters for the weekend! The youngsters went to their home and we locked up our place like Fort Knox, and we drove into the city to stay at a hotel with legitimately nice amenities like an indoor pool, room service, and a jacuzzi tub. I was looking forward to our weekend away without the youngsters. My wife was uneasy to have all three of our kids with my mom and dad for the whole weekend. After I finally convinced my wife that she was being unreasonable, we drove to the hotel. That girl at the front desk was legitimately nice and considerate. When she found out that we were there to celebrate our anniversary, she changed our room to a suite. Unluckily, the room wasn’t everything that we hoped. The water glasses in the bathroom were dirty, that wasn’t the worst part about the room. The worst part was the fact that the wall heating and A/C component was disgusting. The wall heating and A/C component was filled with dirt, dust, and pet hair. I could see all of the gross, disgusting grime inside of the machine. I called the front desk to inform the girl about the condition of the heating and A/C unit, but she offered to send a maintenance woman to scrub and we asked if they could wait until the next morning when we are going to be gone for the day.
