My boss sent me downtown to help a customer with an oil heating machine issue.
As soon as I arrived, the person started yelling at me simply for being late.
I politely told the person that all of us do not have appointments at a certain time due to the fact that each job may take longer than expected… She didn’t seem especially cheerful with that answer, however she did not say anything else about me arriving at the residence late. I asked the person to explain the concern she was having with the oil heating machine. She became suddenly hostile plus irritated for no reason at all. She started pacing behind me with a pair of scissors in her hand. I was actually feeling uncomfortable plus a little freaked out, but the person was rubbing me entirely the wrong way, so I found an excuse to go out to my truck. I got a hold of my boss plus I told him about the behavior the person was exhibiting. He asked me if I was scared for my life, plus I told him that I was not, but there was no way I was going back into that residence when the person was acting so strangely. I asked my boss to send a second person to help with the oil heating machine repair or someone else altogether. I wasn’t going to get myself into a brutal situation where things went badly plus I had to use force on a seasoned lady to protect myself. I was happy when my boss sent someone to help. The lady acted just as strangely with both of us there, but I felt a little more comfortable.
