Ever since the pandemic started almost three years ago, I had been thinking about having a whole-home air purification system install.
I wanted to make sure that if there was ever another pandemic that kept us sheltering at home; I was going to make sure my home was free of germs.
I worried the entire time the pandemic was raging. I didn’t want anyone coming near the house, because I didn’t want my family getting sick. My mother-in-law lived with us, and I was afraid she wouldn’t survive the virus. I had read whole-home air purification system could kill virus germs, mold, mildew and anything else that may get into the house. Between the HEPA air filter and UV light, 99.9% of all air-borne bacteria and contaminants would be eliminated before they could get into the air we breathe. Before I had an air purification system installed, I wanted to make sure the person who gave me these facts was right. I wanted to talk to an HVAC technician. I called the HVAC company and said I wanted more information about whole-home air purification. It surprised me to find out that my friend only had the highlights right. The whole-home air purification system could also get rid of allergens and other small particle the HEPA air filter alone could not remove from the air we breathe. I asked to have an HVAC technician come to the house to determine if my HVAC system was new enough to hold an air purification system. If it was possible, I was going to have the HVAC technician install it while he was there, or at least order the system for me.
