If you have drafts in your house then you know how unfun it is.
How are you supposed to enjoy any kind of temperature in your house if you’re constantly losing any kind of heat or cold air? The answer is that you can’t.
Not to mention, having drafts in your house will cause your heating and cooling system to work much harder to heat or cool your home and therefore your energy bills will be much higher than what they should be. This is the main problem that I’ve been having this summer. This summer I have been running my air conditioning system a lot because as you imagine it’s very hot outside and I don’t want to burn up in the hot summer heat. But what good does it do to even run my air conditioning system if it means that it’s not going to work? It does no good if all the cool air just escapes outside. True in the winter months, if I’m trying to heat my house and keep out the cold air, it doesn’t do any good if all the hot air is escaping outside! It only leaves me cold. So I decided that it was time to get rid of the draft and I did a thorough inspection of my house and it looked for the places where the air was leaking out. Once I found them I perfectly sealed up all the areas and guess what, I have not had any issues since then.
