This sort of heat & humidity is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced
So it’s not a shock that there is a need for a/c in the summer. Even when I lived up north, both of us had central a/c in our home. The Summer mornings could get warm & without central a/c, the new home was just uncomfortable. However, there is a good difference between the need for HVAC cooling up north & where I currently reside. I’m now living in the south after retiring from my task inside the zone controlled HVAC of our corporate offices. Planning for retirement & actually doing it were more than one weird things. But it got for real when I actually put in my papers & a successor was chosen for my position. Soon after, both of us were upgrading the HVAC unit in our beach new home in order to put it on the market. Again, this was a lot weird doing it than just talking about it. It was difficult to leave our family home. And when the morning came for myself and others to walk away from the zone controlled HVAC of the office, that wasn’t simple either. Somehow, both of us managed to pull it all together & both of us are now enjoying retirement & all the possibilities that are before us. Yet, both of us are also reading just how weird the Summer is here. This sort of heat & humidity is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. So, my fiance & I are attempting to get comfortable with the new home being warmer. But it hasn’t been simple & there have been times where both of us just have to hit the control device to give more HVAC cooling. But we’ll get it & we’re also just super thankful to have good HVAC unit while both of us get accustomed to our new climate.
