Three nights later an Heating & A/C tech showed up with a heavy bin full of equipment & tools, & went to work. It did not take long for him to determine that not only were our HVAC ducts filthy, however they also contained evidence of rodents. Rodent fur & droppings inside the ductwork would actually be enough to tank our air quality, & deliver rise to this latest burst of flu symptoms. The person said it would be simple enough to deep clean the whole ventilation system, despite the fact that I needed to make sure the rodents were gone. After that I called in an pet control expert.
