Questionable air quality

I have never owned pets, because I have constantly been allergic to them.

  • Apparently when I first came house from the hospital as a baby our parents had to get rid of their pets because it made myself and others cough & sneeze.

That never changed, & it’s such a strong flu symptom that even spending a few minutes in the presence of a pet will make our face start to itch. I take flu symptom meds, of course, despite the fact that I still can’t be around pets for legitimately long. A few weeks ago I started to have regular flu symptom attacks, & couldn’t figure out why. After doing a deep clean of the house, & overdosing on flu symptom meds, I finally called an Heating & A/C expert to come & test the air quality of our home. I expected a big, burly Heating & A/C tech prefer constantly, however instead was visited by a short, petite lady who looked prefer a librarian. She was an expert on testing air quality, & that is all she did. I must say the lady was excellent at her task, & she did a deep-dive inspection of our entire ventilation system. She even removed the air vents to peer inside, & then went up into the attic to check our insulation. That is where she found the cul;prit to our questionable air quality – there was a litter kitten up in the attic, swaddled in shredded insulation! At some point in the last few weeks a stray pet had gotten into the attic to have babies, & now their dander & hair was spreading through the HVAC ducts & making myself and others think sick.
