It was nice when I got an unexpected bonus from work.
Suddenly, I had enough cash to actually get something nice.
I didn’t want to get something that wouldn’t be useful, I wanted something special. So I decided I would go to check out different heat and AC products at a local contractor. I honestly was impressed with all the different products, especially the smart thermostats. I knew I definitely wanted to invest in a good smart thermostat since my buddies told me that they save you good money on your energy bills. I don’t like paying a small fortune on the energy bills each month, so I invested in a pretty nice smart thermostat that was actually on sale. I looked at a few other things like humidifiers, portable air purifiers, and the HEPA filters. The HEPA filters were also on sale and I was thinking I should either get a pack of those or invest in a good humidifier. I also learned from my friends that when you use a humidifier, it makes it feel more comfortable in your home while using the HVAC system a little less. I decided to invest in a humidifier since the air quality in my home was already pretty good and I already still had a half pack of air filters I needed to use. I was excited when I installed my smart thermostat when I got back home. That thing was a breeze to install and it’s quite easy to use too. I was quick to get the smart app to adjust the temperature control settings with my phone and set other interesting features like geofencing.
