My roommate turned down the AC

I turned off the thermostat and I called the apartment maintenance to leave a message.

My roommate came home from work on Friday and he was exhausted and hot. The guy works at a busy restaurant in the city. He never gets a break for dinner and sometimes he doesn’t get a chance to pee. When the guy came home from work on Friday, he turned the air conditioner down a couple of degrees. I was already asleep, so I didn’t mind at all. This is something that Jack does from time to time. He has never turned the AC down to low until yesterday. I woke up in the middle of the night because it was really warm in the house. When I saw the temperature on the thermostat, I thought it was strange that it was warm. My roommate had the thermostat set at 65 degrees. I put my hand up to the vent by the bathroom, but I couldn’t feel any air coming out of the ductwork. I grabbed a chair from the kitchen and put my hand up to one of the living room sets. I did feel air flow coming from the vent, but the air definitely wasn’t very cool. I turned off the thermostat and I called the apartment maintenance to leave a message. I didn’t expect anything to work in the morning and I assumed that we would have to wait for the maintenance team to arrive and fix the problem with the AC. When my roommate woke up, he turned on the AC and cold air started coming out of the vents. My roommate told me that type of thing actually happens quite frequently. He often forgets to adjust the temperature and freezes up the AC.
