A few years ago, my husband plus I decided to invest in a small rental property… It is a 2-living room duplex with a driveway plus a small fenced in backyard, then at first, it was straight-forward for us to manage the rental, plus during quarantine it was even easier, and both of us both were laboring from home, so the people I was with and I took turns in managing the property.
However, since then, the people I was with and I returned to work, plus the people I was with and I have been having a hard time keeping up with everything, then now, don’t get myself and others wrong, there wasn’t a whole lot to do, however there were problems that came up from time to time! Mostly service or little things that required attention.
After a couple of items began to slip through the cracks, the people I was with and I decided to seek help from a real estate broker… Thankfully, the people I was with and I have a niece who is a realtor, plus she gave to manage the property for us. As section of the deal, she will make sure that all the service of the property is handled in a timely manner. Also, she will make sure that the rent is paid on time, plus she will also keep up with the lease requirements. This is a important weight lifted off our shoulders, plus it’s not that the people I was with and I couldn’t do it, it’s that the people I was with and I fell behind on some of the obligations. Having a real estate broker manage the property was a single of the best decisions that the people I was with and I could have made. Both of us method on investing in more rental properties soon, plus when the time comes, the people I was with and I will use her to find the perfect renter for it.
