When I was saying I needed to get HVAC maintenance to my friends, they all agreed that they had to do the same thing. Then one friend said we should have a little competition and put bets on it. He said we all should each call a different HVAC company and whichever HVAC expert arrived first would win the pot. It sounded interesting and we all put $100 in the pot and then we all called the HVAC companies we chose respectively. I had a good feeling about the HVAC company I called because the people were so nice on the phone. My heart sank though when our one friend was bragging about his HVAC professional already arriving and he took a picture to show us the proof. It wasn’t fair because his HVAC expert happened to be finishing a job up down the street from him. We even asked him if he cheated and looked up the road and chose to call that HVAC company that was right there in his neighborhood. He smiled and said he definitely didn’t do anything like that, but we’re feeling somewhat skeptical about that. My other buddy had his HVAC professional arrive within the hour. My HVAC professional unfortunately called me up and said he couldn’t make it until the following day because an emergency came up. That was a drag for me, but at least the guy was nice enough to call me instead of making me wait for the rest of the day. I really could have used that money too, but instead I lost $100.
