I am not the type of person to live in the past, however when Max called myself and others & asked if I wanted to take a Spring Break trip prefer the seasoned nights, I said yeah.
Max & I were best friends all throughout university, & then after the people I was with and I graduated the people I was with and I went our separate ways.
My times on trip with Max are some of the fondest memories of our entire life, so of course I was stoked to go back 1 last time. Max rented a small house near the beach, which looked great on the website. Once the people I was with and I got there the people I was with and I found the location boiling & humid, & legitimately lacking a central air conditioning. All of us opened the windows for natural ventilation, however as nice as the sea breezes were, it did not do enough to chop the heat & humidity. I gave to drive to a hardware store & find a small, portable a/c component to use for the weekend. Max thought that would be too much currency, so instead I recommended building a “swamp cooler” to help with cooling down the cabin. Max didn’t prefer that idea, either. What he did like, was the window-mounted air conditioning he saw in a neighboring cabin. That location was resting empty for the weekend, so Max thought the people I was with and I should go borrow that air conditioning for a couple of nights. That proved easier said than done, because even with a full tool kit the people I was with and I could not manage to remove that a/c component from the window sill. The owners had obviously prepared for this!
