It’s hard to live in the south separate from a strong cooling system

I grew up in a state far north of the 1 I live in currently.

The city where our parents raised our siblings as well as I was mostly rural, although the two of us were only a numerous minute drive out of the main area of our town as well as its commercial block. It was nice to have some peace as well as quiet away from the busiest parts of the city, but the two of us were still close enough to the train tracks that the two of us heard trains all day as well as night until the eventually discontinued the train maintenance in that area of the state during our late teen years. I had plans to stay in our home state for university, but I acquired a better offer from an out-of-state school including scholarship money as well. While I didn’t enjoy the method of moving 770 miles south of our family as well as hometown, it was the smart financial as well as pragmatic decision to make. However, I was struck by how hot it was after just 1 week of living in the south. I knew I would be in for the rude awakening of a lifetime, especially once summer time reared its ugly head just a few weeks later. I l earned firsthand why it’s so incredibly hard to live in the south full time separate from a strong cooling system in your house, even if I guess a handful of people who do regardless. A strong cooling system is essential to me for both our waking mental health as well as our quality of sleep throughout the night. Thankfully our current rental home came equipped with a phenomenal central cooling system. I get a full night’s sleep as well as I’m comfortable during the day regardless of the rapidly changing temperatures outside.
