My central heating method went out on me at the worst time recently! It was in the middle of Thanksgiving supper with all the family here.
It was pretty cold & there was not a whole lot that could be done to get the central heating & cooling method repaired on a holiday like this.
There was no emergency Heating & Air Conditioning house services available. But it could have been a lot worse. I was lucky that I had a single really enjoyable portable space heating system in our closet reserved for heating emergencies like this. I pulled out the portable space heating system & blasted it. It really heated up the location & was almost like the central heating & cooling system method had not gone out at all. That is how powerful our portable space heating system is. If I had not been able to have a portable space heating system on hand for things like this, the whole family would have had to go house right after supper & then me & our family would have had to spend a fortune on a hotel for the whole holiday weekend! So like I said, it could have been a lot worse if it was not for the portable space heater. The next few afternoons both of us used the portable space heating system as well to keep moderate & it was all fine. Then the following Tuesday both of us had the local heating & cooling system supplier send out a certified heat & a/c specialist to repair the central heating & cooling method to get the heating system back up & running.
