I’m so excited about the invention of temperature control systems for the house.
I couldn’t imagine going all day in this heat while sitting in my office trying to work.
How did they do it in the outdated afternoons? The houses must have been 95F inside during the middle of the summer time as well as I have no clue how people survived without AC or fans. Back in the 1760s they didn’t even have fans so the air was stagnant as well as warm all day long in the houses. I would prefer to go back in time, before the invention of air conditioning to see how people lived. How do you sleep in the evening when it is 90F as well as humid out? I feel people didn’t know what they were missing so they didn’t care so much. The two of us are so spoiled now with our central heating, ventilation as well as A/C systems keeping us comfortable in the severest of weather. The wintertime certainly wasn’t so exhausting back in the day because people could make fires in the fireplace to stay warm, but in the summertime it’s a whole odd ball game. Speaking of ball games, there is a superb game tonight as well. I may see if my friends want to go watch it someplace. Ideally, someplace with cold air conditioning as well as not too many people because I prefer to hear the commentators during the game. It just adds to the fun of the entire game when you hear the commentator going silly when they make a superb point. I need to finish up my heating, ventilation as well as A/C plan cleaning this month before going out to play.
