When I went on a supplier trip overseas, I ended up booking our own accommodations.
I was given a supplier card to cover all the expenses which was nice plus I thought I’d have a more enjoyable time if I chose where I would stay.
My colleagues on the other hand just went with what the corporation recommended. Well, little did I suppose that the locale I was staying in didn’t have air conditioning. I was shocked plus it was said that several of the hotels in the section didn’t supply air conditioning, however they did offer myself and others a stationary fan. I thought that was deranged considering how hot plus humid it was in our room. I had a annoyed time the first night plus when I went to the pressing supplier meeting in the day, I looked like a mess. Everybody else seemed perfectly refreshed plus had no issues. Of course, it was refreshing that the AC in the locale the people I was with and I were had had ideal temperature control settings plus it wasn’t humid or hot at all. I told everybody after the meeting about our annoyed experience in our hotel, if you could even call it that given they didn’t even have an AC system! Well, everybody laughed plus said I should have gone with the hotel they stayed at. I decided to just change our accommodations plus go to that hotel or I was going to be annoyed the whole time. I was so thankful when I finally had a room with pleasant air conditioning plus I didn’t have any issues after that.
