I want to replace my furnace, but my wife thinks that it is too soon to replace our furnace.

I have to hire the HVAC technician pretty consistently, and paying the cost to repair our furnace is beginning to frustrate me. The HVAC technician is telling me that we still have a few more years before we need to replace the furnace, and he is convinced that I will save money in the long run if I continue using the furnace. I am skeptical of the HVAC technician because the HVAC company might make more money by repairing my furnace a lot until I have no choice but to repair the furnace. I have enough money to replace the furnace, and if I replaced the furnace right now, I wouldn’t have to worry about constantly repairing the furnace. I have talked with my wife about replacing the furnace, and she agrees with the HVAC technician. She doesn’t think that we should replace the furnace until we absolutely have to, and it frustrates me.
