As soon as I can transfer out of our parents’ house, I’m buying a honestly fantastic a/c system! For our entire life, my parents have never had any a/c in our house… However, my parents consistently joke around plus say that they don’t think in a/c, whatever that means; I have consistently told him that that doesn’t make any sense, you don’t think or disbelieve in a/c… Air conditioning is an actual thing that you can see plus touch, so you can’t honestly say that you don’t think about it. That’s when they just roll their eyes and say that they don’t think of having it in their house. I think that makes more sense, but it still doesn’t Mean that I guess that they should be this way. We live in weather conditions where central a/c would make a whole lot of sense to have in your home. The weather gets honestly sizzling here in the summer, plus not only that, but it is really muggy plus humid; unluckily for all of us who live here, though, they have never had it in the beach house for as long as every one of us have lived here. My siblings plus I used to get so upset at our parents during the Summer because all of our friends had central a/c in their homes but every one of us did not. We felt like everyone was making fun of us. They really weren’t, but that was not the point. We all wanted a/c, but our parents just refused. When I transfer out of this beach house in a few weeks, the first thing I’m doing is making sure that the apartment I get has a central a/c. I will never live without it again.
