I have these wind chimes that hang above my kitchen window.
- My wife likes them there which is the only reason I have them.
However, lately there has been a small annoyance with them cause of the direction of the wind. The wind chimes also sit above our central heating and air conditioning system in the backyard. And the wind has been making them hit the central heat and air conditioning unit. This is making an extra loud “clank” type noise which happens to be super annoying. I told my wife that I had no choice but to either move or take down the wind chimes until the direction of the wind changed. She was in agreement and even said that the way they were slamming against the central heating and air conditioning system was quite annoying. So what we both decided on was to just take down the wind chimes temporarily until the wind direction changed. We figured in a few weeks we would put them back up and see if they still slammed against the central heating and air conditioning system unit. When that time comes if they still are, then we will have to find a new place to put the wind chimes. Because above the central heating and air conditioning system outside the kitchen window just isn’t going to be working out any longer if this keeps happening. It is just too gosh darn noisy and disrupts things. What is the point of these things anyhow? I’ll never get it, but some people love them.
