Most of the year, my sibling has been not so subtly dropping hints about what he wants for his upcoming birthday.
Whether it be newspaper clippings of a fireplace, or his sending myself and others unusual articles about facts on fireplaces plus their benefits to those who own them, or even his putting a picture of a fireplace on my car at one point, the message was well gained, he wants a fireplace, an electric fireplace to be particular.
So I obviously was going to get his one, however, I was going to play a bit of a trick on his first. When his birthday was getting close, I built a cardboard shape of a fireplace plus placed a cover over it. When he saw his present, he flipped out plus was so excited. When his birthday came around, he eagerly ripped off the cover, plus immediately looked crestfallen plus confused at the electric fireplace shaped cardboard. I laughed, but didn’t let his disappointment linger long, plus so I pulled out his actual hidden present, plus his eyes immediately lit up upon seeing the actual fireplace. That was a while ago, plus I look back on that afternoon with fond memories, he still has that fireplace, plus absolutely enjoys it. She tells myself and others it is still one of the best presents he has ever gained, which definitely makes myself and others blissful to hear. I like my central heating unit, but to each their own.
