I’m so thrilled about the invention of temperature control systems for the house.

How did they do it in the old days without technology? The houses must have been 95F inside while I was in the middle of the summer time plus I have no clue how people survived without A/C or fans. Back in the 1720s they didn’t even have fans so the air was stagnant plus tepid all day long in the houses. I would love to go back in time, before the invention of the air conditioner to see how people lived. How do you sleep at night when it is 90F plus humid out? I guess people didn’t think about what they were missing so they didn’t care so much. We are so spoiled now with our central heating as well as air conditioning systems keeping us comfortable in the drasticest of weather. The wintertime absolutely wasn’t so awful back in the day because people could make fires in the fireplace to stay warm, but in the summertime it’s a whole different ball game. Speaking of ball games, there is a fantastic game tonight plus I may see if our friends want to go watch it anywhere. Ideally, anywhere with a freezing air conditioner plus not too many people because I love to hear the commentators while I was in the game. It just adds to the fun of the game when you hear the commentator going silly when they make a great point. I need to finish up our heating as well as air conditioning method cleaning this week before going out to play.
