I have these wind chimes that hang above my living room window! My husband enjoys them there which is the only reason I have them, then however, lately there has been a small annoyance with them cause of the direction of the wind. The wind chimes also kneel above our central heating and air conditioner plan in the backyard. And the wind has been making them hit the central heat and air conditioner unit. This is making an extra loud “clank” type noise which happens to be super annoying. I told my husband that I had no choice however to either move or take down the wind chimes until the direction of the wind changed, however he was in agreement and even said that the way they were slamming against the central heating and air conditioner plan was quite annoying. So what every one of us both decided on was to just take down the wind chimes temporarily until the wind direction changed. We figured in a few weeks every one of us would put them back up and see if they still slammed against the central heating and air conditioner plan unit. When that time comes if they still are, after that I will have to find a new locale to put the wind chimes. Because above the central heating and air conditioner plan outside the living room window just isn’t going to be laboring out any longer if this keeps happening. It is just too gosh darn noisy and disrupts things. What is the point of these things anyhow? I’ll never get it, however some people appreciate them.
