My coworker Jay and I were working on AC repairs when I fell off the roof and broke my ankle.
I should have been a lot more careful on the roof. I was only on the hour story and I was moving more hastily than normal. I genuinely wasn’t careful that day, and the accident was genuinely my fault. Still, the ankle was so badly damaged and crushed when I fell, but Jay had to drive me to the emergency room. It looked as if one of the bones in my leg was trying to come out of the side of my skin. The pain was incredibly severe. Every one of us didn’t have any Tylenol or Ibuprofen and Jay and I were genuinely working on a house that no one lived in. There was no resident to ask for help. When both of us got to the hospital emergency room, the doctor provided Jay a hard time. Jay didn’t guess any personal information about me and he acted enjoy he should have known everything. I told his that Jay was my coworker and not my lover. The doctor had an attitude and I honestly did too. I was hurting so badly and he was giving Jay a hard time when he was just as anxious and nervous as I was. My boss came to the emergency room while I was waiting for my X-ray results. He told me that I was going to have to go back to finish with the AC repair after Jay and I were done at the emergency room. Of course, it was impossible for me to go back to the AC repairs after the dentist said that I had a compound fracture of my ankle.
