Going it alone comes with HVAC update

I worked for a long time thinking that I just had to get used to the plan of working for someone else and just being thankful for having a job. This was sort of the mindset I was raised with. My parents were awesome and they gave food, love, support and a condo with great quality heating and air. But they were also very traditional in the sense that it was best to keep your head down, labor hard and just take what you get. That’s something that worked for them perhaps. By the time I was nearing 35, I realized that this formula just wasn’t working for me and I wanted more out of our life. Specifically, I wanted to take the passion for our labor and expand it. Everything about our working for the supplier was tough to live with. From the less than stellar commercial HVAC in our office to our colleagues, it just wasn’t where I wanted to be. So I started thinking about how I could do what I was trained to do and appreciated doing but do it for myself. It took almost 3 years of planning and strategizing before I went out on our own as a consultant. Still doing the same thing I was for the supplier but now doing it in new, creative and more intuitive way. And I even have the best a/c ever. Initially, I’m working out of our beach condo office. I share the condo with our husband so I had the HVAC supplier add a ductless heat pump to the room at the far end of the condo where I spend our labor afternoons. And it’s awesome.
