I don’t remember the past winters being this cold.

I invested in a hydronic heating system that has been of much help. During the furnace/heater installation, the HVAC tech advised that I consider a zoned HVAC, but I was not financially able. The professional from the HVAC business then gave me a different but not long-term solution. He advised that I have the HVAC provider deliver a smaller quality HVAC equipment. Since it was not cold the first few weeks, I had not noticed how cold my room was. The decision to finally contact the heating contractor came when I fell ill with the flu and could not stand the cold nights. I woke up in a pool of my sweat, but the temperature was low according to the temperature control device. I woke up and cleaned up but could not fall asleep because the temperatures were not as I wanted. When the HVAC repairman came to do the annual furnace/heater repairs, I requested that he gets the portable space heater to enhance the whole home heating. The best thing about this device is that it did not need as many furnace/heater tune-ups as a much larger system. Thanks to the quality heating device, that night was one of the most comfortable nights. I have been using this portable furnace, and my life has changed. I use the device even when sitting on my porch, which my sister and I love to do on weekends. We enjoy a glass of wine while watching the winter sunset while the kids play noisily in the house.
