I didn’t have that in the budget.
Before I found myself in a heating & cooling squash, I hadn’t even heard of ductless heat pumps. In my mind, there was a central a/c device or there were the window air conditioning systems. That’s pretty much all I knew about HVAC. But I did think that I truly much number one having the central a/c over the window units. I’d lived in ancient houses that had a boiler in the basement that gave radiant heating. And that was truly a cozy way to go as far as HVAC heating went. But the concern with that was the absence of any central a/c for the summer. My room was on the top floor & there was no way I could deal with the heat of Summer up there without some HVAC cooling. So I obtained a window air conditioning system. It was better than not having a/c at all however I had a heck of a time with it as well. It was consistently freezing up or not laboring officially. So when I obtained this house, I wanted some good quality heating & air. That was all set to happen as I had picked out the latest in residential HVAC to replace the ancient HVAC unit. However, the HVAC corporation found that the air duct was no good. I didn’t have that in the budget. That’s when the HVAC professional recommended going with ductless heat pumps instead. It fit my budget & I wanted to get in the new home so I was onboard. It may have been a nice thing that the air duct was shot because I think I care about the ductless heat pumps even better.
