It really sucks when you run out of currency at the bank plus you end up with a bounced check! It must be 10 times as embarrassing when this type of concern happens to a large place of business.
I went to the bank on Tuesday after I acquired my check from the Heating, Ventilation & A/C device business where I work.
I went directly to the bank plus offered the cashier my check. Two other employees were sitting in line when the lady at the bank informed me that my check could not be entirely cashed. I thought she was kidding, however she was actually serious. The bank director came over to speak with me, and she informed me that the Heating, Ventilation & A/C device business account did not have enough funds to cash the check. She made a telephone call to the owner of the business, however the girl did not answer. She could not even cash the check until she heard from the lady. I was completely miserable when I heard the news, so were the other 2 women in line behind me! All of us started contacting every single phone number that we could for the Heating, Ventilation & A/C business. All of us were going to get someone on the phone instantly. The business account holder finally contacted the bank plus we came to learn that a large chunk of currency had not been deposited into the account. It was absolutely an error on the bank’s part, however they sure didn’t apologize to us for all of the confusion plus hassle. I genuinely hope they at least apologized to the owner of the Heating, Ventilation & A/C device business.
