Finally launching my HVAC business in my hometown

When I graduated as an HVAC tech, I dreamed of having my company one day.

  • It has been ten years of working for different companies to hone my skills in providing quality heating.

I have worked with some of the best heating contractors in the industry and learned a lot. I feel I am better equipped to open a successful HVAC business. When I conceived the idea of opening my company, I asked some experienced HVAC repairmen for tips on opening and successfully running a heating business. They gave me crucial tips that helped me start the process. One of the things I needed to do was look for an experienced HVAC provider to man the store. The store would have different quality HVAC equipment, including hydronic heating systems and smaller appliances like the portable space heater. For the first few months, we traded the equipment to demanding customers. This gave us a chance to know the customers’ demands, and as we grew, so did the inventory. We stalked the latest temperature control devices, including the programmable thermostat. It was exciting seeing the business grow. I had the only store in my hometown, so I was solving a big issue for the residents. We later hired a technician who helped with services, including furnace/heater installations and furnace/heater repairs. To achieve whole home heating for our customers, we advised them to regularly schedule furnace/heater tune-ups as it maintains the excellent state of the system. We have thirteen employees now and offer every kind of service to enhance the indoor comfort of our customers. I own the most successful heating business in town, with three branches spread out to the neighboring cities.
