Dropping the temperature of your home improves sleep

I have struggled with insomnia for numerous years, I constantly envied people who could fall asleep easily and stay asleep throughout the night.

My insomnia has affected me in many ways. I am constantly tired, constantly yawning, I am not as focused as I would like to be, and occasionally I need to nap in the middle of the day to function. I have tried many remedies such as sleep studies, melatonin, yoga, meditation, plus even prescription meds. I finally decided to do some more research on our own. I found a group on an online forum and someone advocated purchasing a portable air conditioning to put in my room to help me sleep. It is important that the temperature is cool at night in your room because your body naturally drops its core temperature while sleeping. Dropping the temperature in your home can help your body start to cool down which will help you get to sleep faster plus stay asleep. I was desperate at this point so I started to look for different portable air conditionings for sale. I have central air conditioning in our home, but so far that has not helped me sleep well. I found a portable air conditioning that has glowing reviews and is small enough to fit near my bed. I purchased the portable air conditioning and decided to give it a try, but the insomnia support group stated that it may take a few days before you adjust to the portable air conditioning and get a relaxing night’s sleep, by the third night, I fell asleep within 15 minutes of laying down and slept for numerous hours straight. I could not believe how rested I felt that day.
