If you were to ask me what my favorite part of the day was, I would tell you my favorite part of the day would be when I was done working and I could come inside.
At my job we work almost entirely outside, this is exactly how I want to.
I have never been the type of person and I wanted to sit in an office all day. In my opinion the very idea of that is not only stifling but is mind numbingly boring. As a matter of fact I think I’d rather do anything else other than working in an office job. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the work that people that do work in offices do and I’m not saying that nobody should do it if it’s something that they enjoy, however for me the very idea is not something that I would ever want to do. This is why I got into an industry that works directly in Hands-On work. So what do I do you might wonder? Well I work as a heating and air conditioning technician. Well I’m not always outside 100% of the time, it is uncommon for me to be outside someone’s house or working on an outdoor commercial HVAC system. After a long day of working my favorite way to wind down is by coming home to my own heating and air conditioning system. As someone who works in the heating and cooling industry, I know exactly which heating and cooling systems are the best for my needs. This is why I have a HVAC system with zone control, it works perfectly right along with the smart thermostat. I don’t even have to touch the thermostat or even open the app on my phone to make any adjustments. The smart thermostat knows when I’m home and automatically adjusts the temperature to my perfect temperature preferences. Everything is just the way I like it and I wouldn’t want to change it.
