I work as a Bank manager, and sometimes, my work keeps me away from home for long periods.
Fortunately, I have a housemaid that keeps my house moving when I am not present.
Even though she has Sundays off, sometimes, when she does not have anywhere to go, she stays with me the entire day. Last Sunday happened to be one such. She was home with me the whole day. Earlier in the week, she had mentioned that the thermostat was acting up, but before we could call the air conditioning technicians, the device corrected itself. However, last Sunday, we woke up to the summer heat. The house was super hot because the multi-split air conditioner had malfunctioned. Most air conditioning companies are not open on Sundays, so getting an a/c serviceman proved impossible. I went online to get information on what could be wrong with my unit from the cooling industry website. The information there gave me several tips. One of them was to change the unit’s air filters to increase the air quality. Since the HVAC installation, I have always left issues with the system to the air conditioning providers. They advised me to check the manual provided by the indoor comfort business. Even though they know more about air conditioning, I never found time to look at the tips provided to make interacting with the quality air conditioner easy. My housemaid and I began the process of replacing the dirty filters. It took us about three hours, but we finally managed to revive the unit. I could not believe that we had done the air conditioning repair independently though I knew I had to schedule a comprehensive HVAC maintenance so the professionals could give the unit a clean bill of health.
