All of us wanted to do Spring break the right way, then this was our first year of school, plus the 7 of us wanted to do something fun plus exciting for our first school Spring break, and most of the other students were going to 1 of the beaches, however the people I was with and I went inland instead, plus rent a small bungalow by a lake in the foothills; It was a remote, however exclusive getaway spot, with a few dozen cabins around the lake, and all of us were so gleeful to spend a week in the water plus the sun, getting high plus drunk plus maybe finding some cute boys; What the people I was with and I didn’t expect was for the home to have no air conditioning system.
And I don’t mean that the A/C was broken, I mean that there wasn’t any! All the people I was with and I had were a handful of space gas gas furnaces in the front closet, plus more heat was the last thing the people I was with and I needed on Spring break! That first night was pretty rough, because even with the sea breezes it stayed hot 24/7.
The next day the people I was with and I complained to the rental agent, who directed us to take a closer look at those space gas gas furnaces in the closet. All of us discovered they weren’t space gas gas furnaces at all, they were portable cooling units that the people I was with and I could transport around the house to where they were needed. It turns out that the house was old enough that it had been built without any central air duct, so a central plan could not be installed. The portable cooling units did a good task in taking the edge off the heat.
