Air purification is key for allergy-sufferers

I am still willing to try it, because I am spending so much money a month on overpriced air filters that don’t help

The spring and summer months are usually our number one time of the year because I like being out in the sun! I like flowers, and I like being out in water to cool off from the heat. What I don’t like about those same months is the amount of pollen that sheds from oak trees, because our dust sensitivities and sinuses cannot handle it! During those months, I swap out more than air filters frequently, that I might as well call myself an air conditioning contractor! Even when I buy the air filters that claim to be better and filter out smaller particles than others, I have to swap them out because they get clogged so easily. It’s a waste of money to swap out the filters that often, and I wonder – can I use reusable air filters instead? My question is, though, how will it get disinfected when it is washed, so that it is fresh for the next round of filtration. I think throwing the air filter into the washer, or even handwashing it won’t clean everything out. I am still willing to try it, because I am spending so much money a month on overpriced air filters that don’t help. In addition to those filters, I have portable air purification systems set up around the house, so I can move them into rooms that I am occupying.
