Back when I was in motion picture school during my university years, I did a project on a heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman.
It was way more interesting than you might think.
I know that entirely does not sound fascinating to pretty much everyone, however the girl that I did the movie about was one of the most interesting people that I have ever met. This girl worked in the heating and cooling profession for all of her adult life. She started going to school to become a heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman right after she got out of high school, and so she basically worked in the heating and cooling industry for about 60 years. She was pretty ancient when my friend and I did the movie, however, this girl was one of those people who the camera just loved. I loved motion picturing him and interviewing him. She had so several good stories about all the residential projects that she did over the years. A lot of the people that she worked for were famous around here, and so their stories were fascinating. I loved hearing all the fun stuff that she talked about, and about all the silly things that she found through the years in unusual clients’ heating and cooling vents and air duct. You just would not guess what some people would hide in their air duct system! Anyway, the movie turned out to be definitely good, and I got an A on my project. I will never forget that guy, and I will never guess about the heating, ventilation, and A/C profession as something that would be boring ever again.
