I am quite a bit of money in the hole over all the updates I made
Whoever built my house particularly liked the idea of it looking like a farmhouse, the flooring was all brown rug. The ceilings are wood. The exterior is a rusty red. The worst was the granite pad that housed a wood stove right in the middle of the residing room, i made a lot of swings to the house to ensure that it looked more modern. The brown rug got ripped up plus changed to gray tile. The wood walls were sanded plus painted white. I detached the granite pad plus had the woodstove taken out. It was vented to the ceiling plus upt ot the roof! Sadly once I detached the woodstove, I started having an issue with leaks… Right where the vent was, I was getting a little bit of water. I kept trying to service it on my own, however frequently I would get out my large ladder plus caulk around the area. I then tried liquid cement to see if that would do the trick, and no dice. I hated to do it, despite the fact that I had to call a roofing business. I needed a roofing repair stat. I can’t know I waited so long too. The roofers fixed up the roof in a matter of hours. It hasn’t leaked since. I don’t know what they did exactly, despite the fact that I am guessing they used hardier stuff than I did. I am just thankful I didn’t ruin my house by removing that wood stove. I am quite a bit of money in the hole over all the updates I made. I also didn’t budget a roofing repair. I am just happy that everything is sorted away though.
