I woke up in the morning early and I made breakfast for everyone before the kids got up.

After having the weekend off, I usually have a great deal of energy on Monday morning. I made pancakes, bacon, eggs, and sausage for all of the kids and my wife. I usually leave the house around 7:00 in the morning and I got out of there about 10 minutes early. Those 10 minutes can make a huge difference when it comes to the morning traffic. I was sitting on the freeway 45 minutes later when I got a call from my wife. She sounded frantic. I could hear the kids yelling in the background. She told me that the air conditioner stopped running. It was easily about 85° outside and it wasn’t even 8:00 yet. There was no way that I could turn around to go home and help, so I tried to instruct my wife on ways to check if the air conditioner was broken or not. I told her to look at the thermostat to make sure that it was running and I asked her to see if there was any air coming out of the vents at all. There was no air coming out of the machine even though it was running, so I told my wife to turn the air conditioner off. I knew that couldn’t be good for the motor. I pulled over to the side of the road when I got to my exit and I called the air conditioner repair company near me.
