Yesterday was day two of not being sick with the flu, but my energy is still low and I went to bed early last night again.
I slept about 11 hours, waking up at 10 this morning and trying to assess my energy level today.
I’m still pretty groggy and I am not sure how much energy I have just yet because of sleeping for so long. In a couple of hours I’ll know my energy level and decide if I have enough to play drums and sing on the pier later with my bandmate. My air conditioning in my room last night kept me nice and cozy while I was sleeping and the HEPA filter did a great job of keeping the air clean in the room as well. I think I should be good to go with playing music later, but I won’t play for too long because I know it takes a lot of energy to play the drums and sing. Today is Wednesday and the local businesses will start getting busy soon as the tourists invade our sleepy town for another summer of fun. I will play volleyball some but not as much as last year because I am going to focus more on the music this year to save my shoulders and knees. The local contractor in town did an MRI of my knees recently and they said there is no more cartilage left in them and that cooling them down with ice is a good thing after I play ball. So that is what I will do each time.
