Residential Heating and Air Conditioning transition is interesting

I’m not so sure that I like just how accustom I’m becoming to central air conditioner, and for sure, this isn’t the first time that I’ve experienced modern Heating and Air Conditioning technology.

  • I grew up right here, way down south where the heat pump is king.

That said, it’s been a long, long time since I lived here or anywhere else in the country. After an entire job, thus far, spent overseas, I’m back to walking in and out of central air conditioner. This has been a weirdly interesting experiment actually, however every time I’d come back to visit, I’d be shocked at the level of cooling people now needed to be comfortable. And getting back to places where there wasn’t any residential Heating and Air Conditioning couldn’t come quick enough. So when I was reassigned stateside for the end of my job, I figured I’d feel about the same way about air conditioner, however less is more please. But that’s not quite how it appears to what’s taking place as it all plays out. I’m inside the commercial Heating and Air Conditioning of the office building all afternoon, 5 nights a week. When I visit family or friends, I walk into central air conditioner. And now that it’s mid May, I’m entirely thinking about setting the control component in my home and flipping on the air conditioner. I’m so surprised by that, and getting acclimated to this level of cooling was something I didn’t expect. But man, it sure is nice to suppose about walking into an home that is cooler than outside and crisp thanks to humidity control, then plus, with some air conditioner, I greatly reduce my chances of mold and mildew. Looks like I’m condo for wonderful now so bring on the air conditioner.
